Man dies and four hurt in city crash

A man has died in a three-vehicle crash while four others were also hurt.
Officers were called Small Heath Highway, Birmingham, at about 00:45 BST on Sunday, West Midlands Police said. The driver of one vehicle, a man aged 27, died at the scene.
A second man was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to hospital, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
Three other men were treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to hospital, the service added. Police have appealed for witnesses.
