Film and TV producers are being urged to think of Devon as the perfect backdrop for their productions.
North Devon Council, Torridge District Council (TDC) and consultants Screen Devon are hosting an event for members of the film industry and location owners in Bideford on 31 March.
The event will feature discussion about the benefits of hosting production companies and the income generated by screen tourism.
Claire Horrocks, manager of Screen Devon, said the event aimed to showcase the "incredible assets our region has to offer and understand the benefits of attracting more productions here".

Organisers of the event said different types of location were needed to attract potential film and TV producers
Organisers said the event attendees would hear from film and TV industry experts, managers of companies already attracting productions and location consultants Screen Devon.
They said different types of location were needed to attract potential producers such as large, empty buildings and houses which can double for places in America or other parts of Europe.
There will be opportunities to hear from TDC representatives about how owners can register their potential film locations at the event, they added.
Ms Horrocks added: "One of Screen Devon's main priorities is to help make Devon more film friendly and better connected."
