People in Jersey who are eligible for a Covid-19 booster jab and flu vaccine would be able to get them from their GPs from Monday.

Flu vaccines would also be available from pharmacies and GPs would be able to administer both at the same time to eligible people, the Government of Jersey said.

People who qualified for both vaccines included those aged 65 or over, in a clinical risk group including pregnant women, healthcare workers and care home residents.

Those aged 50 to 64, islanders living with certain health conditions, children aged two to school Year 11 and household contacts of those who are immunosuppressed would only be eligible for the flu vaccine.
