Attempted murder charge after woman hit by car

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was hit by a car in a street.
The 26-year-old woman was struck on Summerville Road in Salford on Wednesday, Greater Manchester Police said.
She remains in hospital with life-changing injuries.
Taylor Smyth, 25, of Summerville Road, Salford, is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court later.
