A spectacular lights display is being put on at a historic house in the Scottish Borders.

It is the second year the Christmas themed-event has been staged at Monteviot House and Gardens near Jedburgh.

The light route runs for more than a mile (1.8km) from the nearby Harestanes Visitor Centre.

The event has been expanded from its first edition which attracted thousands of visitors to the 18th Century property.
