Police have launched an appeal for dashcam footage after three people were injured in a crash in Leicestershire.

Officers were called to the A47 in Skeffington at about 13:30 GMT on Sunday after a report a Volkswagen Tiguan had left the road.

Leicestershire Police said a man in his 40s and a 10-year-old boy were taken to hospital, where they continue to receive treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

A woman in her 40s suffered minor injuries, the force added.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the crash.

Det Con Paul Hicks said: "While we've spoken to a number of people who stopped at the scene, I am appealing for anyone who saw the car beforehand or who saw the collision occur to get in touch.

"I'm particularly keen to speak to any motorists with a dashcam who may be able to help."
