British man dies on holiday in Thailand

A British tourist has died in Thailand, the Foreign Office (FCDO) has confirmed.

It was reported by the Mail Online, external that a man in his 20s from Salisbury had been killed on Monday while on holiday in the nation's capital of Bangkok.

An FCDO spokesperson has confirmed to the BBC that it was aware of the incident.

"We are providing support to the family of a British man who died in Bangkok and are in contact with the local authorities," they said.
