An annual survey of a historic bridge is set to take place this week.
Concrete specialists from McFarland Consulting have arrived at Castle Cornet Bridge with a specialist unit for a routine yearly inspection of its condition.
Guernsey Ports said this included a visual inspection, hammer rap survey and strain sensor maintenance on each span of the main structure and the single span approach bridge to Castle Cornet.
Public access is expected to be maintained throughout the week but pedestrians have been advised to follow signage and safety notices.
Work on the reconstruction of the Castle Cornet Bridge remains on schedule to commence in autumn and winter of 2026.
