Appeal after lorry driver 'spat in woman's face'

Police said the suspect spat in the woman's face before getting back in his lorry and leaving the scene

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault was reported in Plymouth.
The incident took place on Thursday between 11:00 and 11:30 GMT while a driver, a woman in her 70s, was stopped on the slip road coming off the A38 eastbound, onto the Forder Valley Roundabout.
Police said it was reported a male lorry driver walked over to the woman's red Vauxhall Crossland and spat in her face before getting back in his lorry and leaving the scene.
Anybody who witnessed the incident has been asked to contact the police.
