Dealer jailed after £100,000 worth of drugs found

A man has been jailed for six years after admitting supplying heroin and cocaine.
Robert Kelk, 37, was arrested in a police raid on a property in Grimsby in September, where £100,000 worth of drugs were discovered hidden under floorboards.
Officers also seized counterfeit cash and drug paraphernalia and a later raid on his home uncovered weapons including a machete and baton and further quantities of suspected drugs and cash, Humberside Police said.
Kelk, of Elsenham Road in Grimsby, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced at Grimsby Crown Court on 20 November.
Det Insp Tom Kelly said: "Drug crime, and the misery it causes within our communities, will not be tolerated.
"Kelk was a key member in a criminal network that sought to flood our communities with harmful substances.
"His role extended beyond street-level dealing, acting as a crucial point of supply for others and enabling the continued distribution of drugs across North East Lincolnshire.
"The scale of the drugs recovered during this operation demonstrates the level of criminality involved and the lengths offenders will go to to conceal their activities. Our officers acted swiftly and decisively to dismantle this network, preventing these drugs from reaching vulnerable people in our communities."
