Gas supplies set to return after two-day repairs
- Published
Gas supplies are set to be restored to homes and businesses in a Berkshire village after being cut off for two days.
About 300 properties lost their supplies in Winnersh after a fault was found on Tuesday afternoon.
SGN said emergency repair work had progressed well with supplies expected to return to "most affected properties" on Thursday.
The firm has apologised and thanked residents for their understanding and patience.
SGN added its customer service team would be on site at 613 Reading Road on Thursday should residents have any concerns or questions.
The company added: "Please do not try to turn on your own gas supply - our engineers will visit your property once it is safe to restore your gas supply."
The fault has affected properties across 14 streets.
