Three more arrests over city asylum hotel demo

Three more people have been arrested following protests around the issue of hotels being used to house asylum seekers.
West Mercia Police said they made the arrests on Friday following the protests in Worcester on Wednesday. Several arrests were made on the night.
On Friday, a 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and a public order offence, the force said. And a man, 22, was held on suspicion of a public order offence and racially aggravated harassment.
A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. He was in custody on Friday and the other two suspects were bailed.
Police had earlier said there were two protests in Worcester on Wednesday night, which were outside the Fownes Hotel in Clare Street.
The force said from the arrests made on Wednesday, a man has been charged with assaulting a police officer.
A woman, arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer, was released under investigation.
