"Here's a photo I took of the mildewed, mossy and heavily-frosted James Watt statue on Glasgow Green, in a little late winter sunshine," says Andrew Hunter. "Brings it to life nicely."

Adrian Plumb was about 3000ft (1,000m) up in the Cairngorms when he came across mountain hares. "Such lovely shy creatures," he says.

Sheila Mazur captured this raindrop on lichen on a morning dog walk in Formonthills Woods, Glenrothes.

"I took this picture of a fallen tree that had been cut to clear the path through Colinton Dell," says Alistair Murphy. "I thought the cut through the ivy vines that had grown around the tree trunk made it look quite unusual."

Adele Carlin-Paterson enjoyed a "cuppa with a view" near Applecross on a recent trip round the North Coast 500.

"Reed cutter making little impact on the huge area of reeds on the RSPB Tay reedbeds," says Colin Matheson.

Pete Walls captured these amazing skies on "a lovely clear night in Edzell" with the Milky Way "showing itself off".

"I was cycling up the Kilry to Glen Isla road when I stopped to enjoy the view looking towards Monega hill and the Glas Maol in Glen Isla," says Eric Niven.

"Thursday was a great sunny day to see the Buffalo Bill Statue in Dennistoun," says Brian McKenna.

"Going for grayling on the River Tweed on a chilly morning near Innerleithen," says Robin Gladstone.
