The family of a motorcyclist who died in a crash in Cornwall has said he was "loved beyond words".

Dean Green, 23, from the Veryan area, died at the scene on the B3275 near Fraddon in a crash between a car and a motorcycle at about 07:15 BST on Monday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

In a tribute released by the force, the family said Mr Green "leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love and kindness that will live on in each of us".

"Our hearts are heavy with grief and no words feel worthy enough to express the depth of our sorrow. The sudden loss of Dean has left an emptiness in our lives that cannot be filled," they said.

The family said Mr Green was "a cherished and loyal son, brother and friend".

"He loved life and lived it to the full and those moments were always filled with joy, laughter and unforgettable memories," they said.

"Dean found peace in his love for gardening, whether he was planting flowers, nurturing vegetables and fruit, he took pride in watching his plants grow.

"Though he left us far too soon, Dean leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love and kindness that will live on in each of us."

'Rest peacefully'

They said he was "loved beyond words, missed beyond measure and remembered always".

"We will carry his memory in our hearts and honour him in the way we live with love, with laughter, and with open arms for those we cherish," they said.

"Rest peacefully, dear Dean."

Police said anyone with information or dashcam footage of the crash to contact them.
