Changes to on-street parking are set to be introduced in parts of Berkshire.

West Berkshire Council announced changes to routes in Thatcham and Speen, including the A4 Bath Road and Old Bath Road which would see the introduction of "no waiting" restrictions and the removal of parking bays.

Existing residents' permit zones in Newbury, Hungerford and Pangbourne would also be expanded.

The council said the changes were intended to improve safety, support cyclists and tackle parking issues near schools and residential areas. Consultations on the plans are open until 27 November.
