Polls close for Devon local elections

Polling stations have closed in Devon for local elections.

Sixty councillors are due to be elected across 58 electoral divisions, with the Broadclyst and Exmouth divisions due to each have two councillors elected and the rest one councillor.

Stations opened from 07:00 BST until 22:00 and people on the electoral roll needed to bring photo identification to cast their votes in person.

The results are due to be announced on Friday.
