Biker dies in hospital after crash with campervan

A 57-year-old man from West Lothian has died in hospital a week after a crash involving his motorbike and a campervan near Inverness.
The accident happened at about 16:30 on 19 June on the A82 at Lochend, south of Inverness.
Steven Twizell, who was riding a blue BMW motorbike, was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died on Thursday.
The 46-year-old male driver of the white Peugeot Carado campervan was taken to hospital as a precaution but later discharged. He has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.
Mr Twizell was from Armadale in West Lothian.
Police Scotland said its inquiries were ongoing and the force is appealing for witnesses to the collision to get in touch, external.
