Puppies with severe skin condition recover fully

The husky puppies were brought to the RSPCA with a severe skin condition

Five husky puppies have made a full recovery two months after arriving at an animal charity with a severe skin condition.
The dogs were "clearly in distress" and were "covered in red, sore skin and scabs" according to RSPCA Millbrook in Chobham, Surrey.
Three of the five puppies have been rehomed and the animal charity is now looking for homes for the remaining two, Jasper and Poppy.
Kate MacNeill, behaviour and welfare advisor at the centre, said: "After weeks of treatment and medicated baths, they are now looking amazing."
She said: "These poor puppies were in a dreadful state when they arrived.
"They hardly had any fur and were covered in red, sore skin and scabs."
Jasper and Poppy are now "healthy, happy, and ready for adoption".
While their health has improved dramatically, both puppies will need experienced and patient owners to help them adjust, as they missed out on crucial early socialisation, according to the charity.
Ms McNeill said: "Both puppies are typical huskies - full of life and lots of energy - so they will need an active home with plenty of physical and mental stimulation.
"It's wonderful that we have found loving new homes for three of the five puppies. "Now we hope someone will offer Jasper and Poppy the loving homes they so deserve."

Jasper and Poppy are ready for adoption after recovering to full health
The charity said the puppies would be adopted separately and would be able to live with other dogs and secondary school age children.
They need a private, fully-secure garden with 6ft (1.8m) fencing.
The new owners will need to be able to return to RSPCA Millbrook for puppy sessions.
