A man in his 80s has died in a fire at a mobile home, police have said.

Eleven fire engines and 50 firefighters responded to reports of the blaze at Lady Bailey Residential Park in Winterborne Whitechurch, Dorset, at about 11:30 BST on Monday.

Dorset Police said the coroner and the man's next of kin had been informed of the death. It said the fire was not believed to be suspicious but that officers would work with the fire service to investigate the cause.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service said the fire had been extinguished by about 13:30 BST, but that crews had remained on location to dampen down for the remainder of the afternoon.
