Charges after more than £1m of drugs seized in Highlands

Two men have been arrested and charged after cannabis and cocaine worth more than £1m was found in the Highlands.
The recoveries were made on the Black Isle over the course of 2025 and the two men, both aged 28, were charged following a police investigation.
They are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.
Police Scotland said the arrests showed they would not tolerate illegal drugs in local communities.
Det Insp Angus Morrison said: "We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the sale of illegal substances in the Highlands.
"It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy."
