Dealer found with drugs in his underwear is jailed

A drug dealer arrested with heroin and crack cocaine hidden in his underwear has been jailed for 12 months.
Snowden Mayanika, 21, from Peterborough, was arrested with three other people at a flat in the city's Lincoln Road in January.
Together they had breached a closure order on the property, put in place by a neighbourhood policing team (NPT) after complaints of antisocial behaviour and exploitation, police said.
Officers found a plastic bag containing £400 in cash and a block of crack cocaine worth £4,000 - as well as a bag containing 16 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine in Myanika’s underwear.
An analysis of mobile devices found at the flat confirmed a "burner phone" being used as a "deal line", which was tracked moving to the same locations as Mayanika’s personal mobile.
Mayanika, of Hereward Tower, Broadway, Peterborough, was jailed at Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday after previously admitting possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, as well as breaching a closure order.
No further action was taken in relation to the drug offences against the other three people arrested.
However, one of them was charged with breaching a closure order and was jailed for eight weeks.
Det Con Jenny Hargreaves said: "The local NPT have persistently tackled the issues surrounding this flat, with 11 arrests for breaching the order, and then securing a full closure order on the property earlier in the year.
"Their regular checks have stopped the drug dealing and the associated antisocial behaviour - and a class A drug dealer is no longer exploiting vulnerable people in the area.
"I hope this provides some reassurance to the local community that we are listening to their concerns and doing everything in our power to resolve the issues."
