Part of a major road was closed after a crash involving a lorry and two other vehicles.

Emergency services were called to the A14 eastbound near Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, at about 06:51 BST on Wednesday.

The road was closed between J36 and J37 near Newmarket, in Suffolk, while recovery took place.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "There are not thought to be any serious injuries, but two lanes are closed due to the position of the vehicles which is causing heavy delays in the area."

Officers said the crash involved a lorry carrying two trailers and two vehicles.

They remained at the scene while recovery took place.
