A 77-year-old man is due in court charged with murder after a woman was found fatally injured.

Charles Graham, 77 of Fairfield Road, Cheltenham, is set to attend a Bristol Crown Court plea hearing on 6 November.

He has been accused of murdering Davinia Graham, 67, who was declared dead by emergency services at an address in Fairfield Road, at about 3.30 BST on 31 August.

A provisional trial date of 3 March has been set, Bristol Crown Court confirmed.

Gloucestershire Police said specialist officers are supporting the family of Ms Graham, who was known as Dee to her friends.
