Plans have been approved for a new health club to be built at a business park.
Up to 100 jobs will be created when the new David Lloyd centre opens at Harlow Innovation Park, in Essex.
Blueprints show a gym, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis facilities on the site.
Dan Swords, Conservative leader of Harlow Council, said he was "extremely excited" about the potential of the development.
It was estimated a further 60 jobs would be created during the construction of the club.
Extra facilities planned for the complex include a spa, exercise studios and pickleball and badminton courts.
"This is a huge investment from a leading leisure brand," Mr Swords said.
"It will send out a serious message that Harlow is the place for investment and opportunity."
The innovation park, located on the east side of Harlow near Newhall, opened in 2022 as a destination for science, technology and research businesses.
Stuart Caswell, property director at David Lloyd Clubs, said he was "delighted" to open at the site.
"Not only will it allow local residents to enjoy happier healthier lives, it will also create numerous jobs across a range of roles in the sports and hospitality sector," he added.
