A man has been jailed for raping a 14-year-old girl on a footpath during a night out.
Ethan Baily, of Hill Rise, Chippenham, was 17 years old when he attacked the girl near Monkton Park, Wiltshire, on October 14 2021.
At Swindon Crown Court on Friday, the 20-year-old was sentenced to four years imprisonment. Wiltshire Police said Baily showed "no remorse" for his actions throughout trial.
Det Con Sam Long said: "This was a cowardly and despicable act committed against a young, vulnerable teenage girl."
"She was violated in the worst possibly way and was unable to defend herself," he added.
Police praised the "enormous courage and resilience" of the victim.
Baily has also been placed on the Sex Offenders Register and issued with a lifetime restraining order from the victim.
