Man pleads not guilty to murder of baby

A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a three-month-old baby.

Bradley Thomas, 23, from Redcar, appeared at Teesside Crown Court via video link from HMP Holme House.

Emergency services were called to a property in the Eston area on 5 October and discovered the infant in a critical condition. The baby was taken to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary, but later died.

A trial date was set for June 2026 and Mr Thomas was remanded into custody.
