CarFest returns this weekend.

The festival, founded by radio presenter Chris Evans in 2012, is due to be held at Laverstoke Park Farm in Overton from Friday to Sunday.

It is the last time the festival will be held in Hampshire, with next year's festival moving to Silverstone in Northamptonshire.

Thousands of people attended the event last year to see its display of cars, live music, food, and other activities.

Are CarFest tickets still available?

Yes, there are still tickets available to buy.

They will also be on sale at the gate, although organisers recommend checking ticket availability on the ticket page before turning up.

How to get to CarFest

CarFest is accessible via the M3 and the A303. It is about an hour and 30 minutes from London, 45 minutes from Southampton, and an hour from Reading.

There is parking on-site, but organisers recommend booking in advance in order to secure a space. Purchasing parking on-site will also cost more.

Drivers are also advised to follow official event signage, even if it contradicts their sat navs, because of temporary road closures and one-way systems.

People can also arrive by train, with Overton, Micheldever, Basingstoke and Andover stations all being close to the festival site.

There's also a bus which could get festivalgoers to Overton station, which is a 2.5km (1.6 mile) walk, or a short taxi ride, to the festival entrance.

For those getting taxis, there is a designated drop off/pick up zone at the festival site.

The weather forecast is expected to be good for the weekend

Day car parking opens for day visitors and weekend visitors without camping at 11:00 BST on Friday and 09:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

Campsite doors for 'big early' campers are usually open from 16:00 to 20:00 on the Thursday, and, for regular campers, usually open at 08:00 on the Friday.

But organisers said the exact timings would be confirmed closer to the time.

According to festival organisers, people can bring picnics, soft drinks, blankets and folding chairs, although they will not be able to set them up in the standing area of the music arena.

However, there are also a number of prohibited items, including disposable vapes, gazebos, windbreakers, glass bottles, BBQs, drones or fireworks.

Festivalgoers are also not allowed to bring alcohol onto the main festival site, and only a limited amount is allowed per person on the campsite.

What is the weather forecast for CarFest?

Be sure to use the BBC website to check the latest weather forecast for Overton, which is currently forecasting sunshine and temperatures in the low 20s.

But it never hurts to bring waterproofs just in case - and if you're camping, it's always worth bringing an extra layer to sleep in.
