Man charged after disturbance in Swanscombe

A man has been charged with multiple offences, including attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after a disturbance in Swanscombe.
Kent Police said it was called to London Road at 13:30 BST on 14 August.
A man was treated for serious injuries and taken to hospital along with a second man for treatment.
Officers recovered a machete from the scene.
The man was charged on 20 August and remanded in custody.
He was also charged with a public order offence, driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, threatening a person with a bladed article, and dangerous driving.
Two other men, aged 19 and 23, and a woman, aged 18, who were arrested on suspicion of assault, have since been bailed until November pending further investigation.
