Police investigating a large fire at a derelict hotel in the centre of Blackpool have released an image of a man they want to speak to.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the former Carlton House Hotel on the corner of Abingdon Street and Queen Street on Saturday.

Firefighters from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the building at about 16:45 BST. Road closures were put in place following the fire.

Police have asked anyone who recognises the person, or has any information about the fire, to contact the force on 101 with the log reference 0994 from 27 September.
