A section of road is to be closed for five days as work continues to complete a project to improve Cornwall's largest highway.

The newly dualled A30 between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross was opened in June 2024 but associated works remain ongoing.

From Monday, the B3277 road from the Chiverton interchange to Rowes roundabout is closed until Saturday at 06:00 BST.

National Highways said a diversion would be in place, and would be signed in yellow.

The A30 including all east and westbound slip roads, and the A390 and A3075 through Chiverton interchange roundabout will be open as usual.

The diversion route takes takes drivers to the Scorrier junction from where they can travel through Blackwater to St Agnes and vice versa.
