A shop accused of selling vapes to children and being the site of anti-social behaviour has been shut down by trading standards.

Broad Express, in Wulfruna Street, has been told to close after the City of Wolverhampton Council trading standards team and the police successfully applied for a court order.

West Midlands Police said the shop was a site of alleged drug offending and there were concerns about the sale of tobacco and vapes to children.

The council said it hoped the closure would improve the area, which had been negatively impacted.

It said the anti-social behaviour had originated from the shop and it rapidly became a "source of significant concern in the city centre."
