Murder arrest after man found stabbed at home

A man has been arrested after a 26-year-old was found stabbed to death in a home in south-east London.
The Met Police said officers were called to reports of a man with stab wounds at the property on Monson Road, New Cross, at about 19:30 BST on Saturday.
Emergency services attended including the air ambulance however he died at the scene. His family are being supported by officers.
A man, also aged 26, was arrested on suspicion of murder a short time later. He remains in custody.
It happened across the road from what was the Duke of Albany pub, which featured in the 2004 film Shaun Of The Dead.
A forensics tent has been set up on the pavement, and flowers have been left outside the terraced house.

Det Ch Insp Lucie Card, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim at this difficult time.
"I understand this incident will be concerning and we are carrying out a fast-paced and thorough investigation to establish the circumstances. I would encourage anyone who has not yet spoken to us."
