One dead and two injured after car hits tree

An air ambulance was called to the crash alongside paramedics and police

A man has been killed and two passengers injured after a car hit a tree in Warwickshire.
The crash happened on Nuthurst Lane, in Nuneaton, shortly before 06:00 GMT on Sunday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said bystanders gave the driver CPR, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) in a critical condition.
A male passenger was given treatment by crews for non-life threatening injuries before being taken to the same hospital for further checks.
