A 24-year-old man has been released with a caution by police following an investigation into graffiti tagging in Hull.

Humberside Police said multiple business premises on Chanterlands Avenue, Newland Avenue and Beverley Road were marked with the tags on 25 May.

The arrest follows a CCTV appeal by police who were looking for a man as part of their inquiries.

A spokesperson said: "Graffiti and tagging are not victimless crimes – they cost time [and] money and make an area feel uncared for."

The force is urging people who witness tagging being carried out to report it.
