Man arrested after Christmas Eve bus crash

A man in his 30s has been arrested after a collision between a bus and car left two people in hospital on Christmas Eve.
Dorset Police were called at about 20:00 GMT on Tuesday to the collision on Wallisdown Road, near to the Mountbatten Roundabout, Bournemouth.
The male driver of a blue Skoda Octavia and his female passenger, who are in their 30s, sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police said they had arrested a man on suspicion of driving offences in connection with the incident.
He has been released under investigation as further investigative work is carried out.
Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or information about the crash to get in contact with them.
Two bus passengers had minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene.
