Organisations in Plymouth will join a national campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour this week.

Events will take place across the week in the city, and the aim is to encourage communities to take a stand against anti-social behaviour.

The campaign runs from 18-24 November, and includes agencies like Plymouth City Council, Devon & Cornwall Police and Plymouth's housing associations.

Councillor Sally Haydon, cabinet member for community safety, said the council was "determined to create a safe and peaceful Plymouth".

Haydon added: “We hope to reach out to our communities and give our residents the confidence to report anti-social behaviour and know they are being listened to.

"Every community should feel safe, every individual should feel respected, and everyone should feel free to get on with their life without being subjected to nuisance or harmful anti-social behaviour."

There will be events on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and more information is available here, external.
