The search for two missing people from Gillingham has moved into the Strood area, where police inquiries are under way.
Kent Police say they are concerned for the welfare of Louis Bond and Rebecca Smallcalder, who were last seen walking together in Gillingham High Street at about 14:30 GMT on Monday.
There is now a focus on the Strood area after investigators identified that the pair, who are in a relationship, both walked through the Medway towns on the day they were last seen.
It is thought they may have made their way through roads in the vicinity of Darnley Road, Strood, towards Rede Common.
Officers are asking residents in those areas to check for any relevant CCTV footage after 16:00 on Monday.
Mr Bond, 31, is described as being white, 5ft 5ins (1.6m), of slim build and with a shaved head.
He was wearing a black woollen hat, orange and black workman's trousers and black boots.
Ms Smallcalder, 26, is white, of slim build, 5ft 11ins (1.8m) and with dark hair which she wears in a ponytail.
She was wearing a black top, black trousers, a long grey and white scarf and trainers.
