Man accused of 80-year-old's murder appears in court

A man accused of killing an 80-year-old at a retirement complex has appeared in court.
Jonathan Moore, 63, of Welland Court in Cheltenham, appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Friday charged with the murder of James Henry Mayo - known as Jim.
No application for bail was made for Mr Moore and he was remanded into custody.
He was told to next appear at the court on 31 May.
Gloucestershire Police were called to a property on Welland Court, in Prestbury, at 19:00 BST on Sunday.
Mr Mayo, who was found within the property, was declared dead at the scene.
