Man charged with robbery offences at pharmacies

A man has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place

A man has been charged in connection with robberies at two pharmacies in East Sussex.

The incidents happened at Boots Pharmacy, in Eastbourne Road, Pevensey, and Kamsons Pharmacy, Victoria Drive, Eastbourne, on Saturday.

Police said a 42-year-old man has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 30 April.
