Jersey Post is set to take over the delivery of UPS parcels on the island.

The company said it had won the contract for all on-island UPS deliveries.

All UPS deliveries will arrive via the Condor Goodwill and should be delivered the same day "except when ferries are delayed", Jersey Post said.

Managing Director of Postal and Logistics at Jersey Post Julie Thomas said by securing the contract the service was "making strides as the island’s preferred delivery provider".

She added: "We are thrilled to be able to serve Jersey residents and businesses with their UPS deliveries."
