A pantomime star was left stunned following a surprise on-stage proposal during opening weekend in Greenock.
Lee Samuel, 37, was taking his final bow when his boyfriend, Lee Johnston, came on stage.
Popping the question in front of a cheering audience which included family and friends, Mr Samuel said "yes".
The surprise proposal is perfectly timed for the couple who say panto and Christmas are their favourite time of year.
Mr Johnston, 30, said: "Being on stage, especially in panto, is what Lee was born to do. He loves it so much, which is why I decided to do it there.
"When I first met him I was in awe of him being an actor and being on stage.
"I wanted the proposal to be special and to take him totally off guard, and I think I achieved that."
The couple who live in Yoker, Glasgow, have been together for more than two years.
Starring as Boabby Blumenthal in the Beacon Arts Centre's rendition of Beauty and the Beast, this is Mr Samuel's ninth consecutive year performing at the theatre.
He appears alongside Still Game favourites Jane McCarry and Mark Cox and River City's Jimmy Chisholm.
Mr Samuel's castmates helped plan the proposal along with behind the scenes staff at the Beacon.
Marketing manager at the arts centre, Lisa McRuvie, said: "We were absolutely thrilled to help Lee organise the perfect proposal for our amazing panto cast member Lee Samuel.
"It was a magical moment for all involved and we are over the moon for the happy couple."
