Organs have been found in a container in a south London park.

A member of the public found the container in Rosehill Park in Sutton at 16:30 BST on Wednesday, with what was described as "human or animal organs" inside.

The container has been secured and the contents will be forensically examined, the Metropolitan Police said.

A cordon remains in place around a grey forensics tent.
