Man seriously injured in e-scooter crash

The e-scooter driver is a man in his 40s, police said

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries in an e-scooter crash in the Harehills area of Leeds.

The accident happened at the junction of Harehills Avenue and Harehills Lane at about 18:15 BST on Sunday, West Yorkshire Police said.

The seriously injured man, in his 40s, remained in hospital on Monday, they added.

The force appealed for any witnesses, particularly those with relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.

A spokesperson also said they are investigating if any other vehicles were involved in the incident.
