Two injured and drivers warned of delays after M8 crash

A large emergency presence responded to the incident on the M8

Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the M8 near Glasgow Airport.
Drivers were warned to expect delays on the westbound Arkleston Interchange (junction 27) after the incident, which happened at about 13:20.
Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to the collision, which closed the road for more than two hours.
Traffic Scotland said all lanes reopened shortly after 15:30 but added tailbacks were likely for some time.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed two patients had been transported to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
