A life-size statue of Cornish comedian Jethro is to be unveiled to the public later.

Trago Mills Liskeard has been chosen as the home for the memorial statue by local sculptor Richard Austin.

Fans of the comedian were previously asked to make suggestions for where a statue of him should be placed.

The unveiling at Trago will include music, entertainment and a barbecue hosted by the company, which is weather permitting.

Following Jethro's death in 2021 supporters raised £17,000 to commission Wadebridge sculptor Richard Austin to create a bronze likeness.

The statue shows him smiling in his familiar performing stance.
