Police investigating an attack on a 12-year-old girl in Gloucestershire have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to.

A man attacked the girl in Chalford, Stroud at around 16:15 BST on 13 May.

She was walking on Marle Hill when the attacker forced her into some bushes and pinned her to the ground.

Police said she screamed for help and the man ran off in the direction of Dark Lane and London Road.

The girl was not injured but shaken up by what happened, officers added.

Gloucestershire Police has released an e-fit of a man the force believes has information that could help the investigation.

He is described as a white with a slim, athletic build, aged between 18 and 25 with a round face and short fair hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a white or light grey jumper, black shorts, long socks and trainers.
