A man has been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old man who was stabbed in south-east London.

The Met Police said Robert Robinson was attacked on Carteret Way, Deptford, at about 22:35 BST on Thursday. He died at the scene.

Dalziell Wedderburn, 44, was one of two men arrested shortly after the killing. He will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court later.

The other man who was arrested, a 50-year-old, has been bailed to a date in early September.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
