'Dangerous and violent' sex attacker jailed

A "dangerous and violent" man who attacked and sexually abused a woman in West Yorkshire has been jailed for eight years.
Luke Fox, 37, who was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday, pleaded guilty to rape, battery, strangulation and assault charges.
Fox, of Mornington Road, Bingley, was arrested in February 2023, West Yorkshire Police said.
He was also given a sexual harm prevention order and placed on the sex offenders register for life.
Speaking after the sentencing, PC Amy Davidson said the victim had shown "immense courage" in reporting the attacks.
“Fox is clearly a dangerous and violent man who believed he could assault, control and abuse a woman with no consequences," she said.
"A level of justice has been served and reflected in the custodial sentence he has been given.”
