Police issue drink-drive warning ahead of show

Police have encouraged people attending the Royal Cornwall Show to plan their journeys home.
Devon and Cornwall Police said visitors should "nominate a designated, sober driver before attending the show".
The Royal Cornwall Show takes place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Officers said they were warning visitors ahead of the start of the show to deter drink-driving.
Increased patrols
Insp Adam Stonehill said police would be "increasing patrols of local roads to deter drink-driving".
"Our message is, do not drive home if you have had a drink as you risk your life and the lives of others," he said.
"Please take advantage of public transport to the show or arrange lifts in advance.
"Road safety officers will be patrolling the local road network, and anyone found to be drink-driving will face prosecution which could result in a driving ban."
'Act sensibly'
Police warned delays were expected on local roads due to the volume of people attending the show.
It said a temporary speed limit of 30mph along the A39 at Hals Grave would be in place for the three-day event.
The force added it had made changes to policing this year's event to "improve the overall experience for all show-goers".
Insp Stonehill said: "Although thankfully rare, the show can enforce a ban on those who behave anti-socially, so we urge all those attending to act sensibly and ensure the show can be enjoyed by everyone."
