Woman has life-changing injuries after crash

A woman is thought to have life-changing injuries after a crash in Newton Abbot.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to a crash involving a Toyota Yaris car and a pedestrian at Highweek Village at 10:35 GMT on Sunday.
The force said a 73-year-old woman was taken to Torbay Hospital with "what are believed to be life-changing injuries".
Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
